The Dashboard is the admin website your church team uses to run your app. From here you set up your content, customise how your app looks, manage your people, and keep your community engaged. This guide gives you a quick tour of the main areas so you know where to go for each task.
Finding your way around
Everything is reached from the menu down the left side of the screen. The links are grouped into sections so related tasks sit together. Throughout our help articles you will see directions like “In the left side menu, go to Home.” The two links at the very top, Dashboard and Stats, give you an overview and your numbers; the grouped sections below them are where you do your day-to-day work.
Dashboard and Stats
The Dashboard is your home base. It shows a welcome message, headline figures such as app downloads and the number of people in your community, and a set of quick actions to jump straight into common jobs. For a fuller picture of how your app is being used, go to Stats.
- Start on the Dashboard each time you log in to see what needs your attention.
- Use the quick action cards to move quickly into sending a notification, creating an event, managing giving, or customising your app.
Members
This section is for the people in your community. It appears when member sign-in is switched on for your app.
- Go to People to view and manage your members and their details.
- Go to Tags to label and organise people into groups.
Customisation
This section controls how your app looks and how you share it on the web.
- Go to Design to set your app’s branding and appearance.
- Go to Web App to view and share a web version of your media library. See our guide “Using Your Web App” for more.
- Go to Embeds to add your media or events to your own church website.
My App
This is the largest section, and it is where you manage the content your community sees inside the app.
- Home sets up the main screen of your app.
- Locations and Ministries manage your campuses and ministry groups.
- Media manages your series, and Sermons manages your sermon content.
- Events manages your calendar, including recurring events.
- Forms and Polls let you collect responses and gather feedback.
- Live Streaming manages your live services.
- Giving is where you set up and manage donations.
- Notifications sends push notifications, and Messages sends SMS text messages.
Some links, such as Sermons, only appear when that feature is switched on for your app.
Where to begin
If you are setting up for the first time, a good order is:
- Go to Design to brand your app.
- Go to Home to set up your app’s main screen.
- Add your content under Media, Sermons, and Events.
- Set up Giving if you collect donations.
- When you are ready to keep people in the loop, use Notifications and Messages.
