Browsing Events

The Events section lets you see what is coming up at your church, open an event to read the details, add it to your phone’s calendar, and let your church know you are coming. Here is how to find your way around.

Find an event

  1. Open the app and tap Events.
  2. Depending on how your church has set things up, you will see either a calendar at the top of the screen or a scrolling schedule of upcoming events. With the calendar, tap a date to see the events on that day. With the schedule, just scroll down to browse through what is coming up.
  3. Tap any event in the list to open its full details.

Narrow down what you see

If your church runs lots of events, you can filter the list to find what matters to you.

  1. On the Events screen, tap the filter icon in the top corner.
  2. Choose a Category, a Location, or both.
  3. Tap Apply to update the list. To go back to seeing everything, tap Clear.

View event details

When you open an event, you will see its image, title, date and time, and an About section describing what it is. Depending on the event, you may also see:

  • The location, which you can tap to open in maps or copy.
  • An Event link for more information online.
  • An Organiser, with their contact details so you can get in touch.

Add an event to your calendar

  1. Open the event you want to save.
  2. Tap the date and time row, where you will see Add to calendar.
  3. Confirm any permission prompt so the app can access your calendar, and the event will be saved to your phone.
  • Add to calendar is only available for events that have not already finished.
  • If you do not see the option, check that you have allowed the app to use your calendar in your phone’s settings.

Let your church know you are coming

Some events let you RSVP so the organisers know who to expect.

  1. Open the event. If RSVPs are turned on, you will see Going and Interested buttons near the top.
  2. Tap Going if you plan to attend, or Interested if you are still deciding.
  3. Tap the same button again any time to change or remove your response.
  • You will need to be signed in to your account to RSVP. If your account is not activated yet, check your email for the activation link first.

Share an event

  1. Open the event you want to share.
  2. Tap the actions icon (the three dots) at the top of the screen.
  3. Choose Share to send it to someone, or Copy link to paste the event link wherever you like.

You can also pull down on the list or an event to refresh and make sure you are seeing the latest information.
