Polls let your church ask for your opinion on a question and let you see how everyone responded. This guide shows you how to find a poll, cast your vote, and view the results.
Find a poll
- Open the app and tap the polls feature in your menu or tabs. It may be called Polls or a name your church has chosen.
- You will see a list of polls, each showing a title and its question.
- Tap a poll, or tap its View button, to open it.
Cast your vote
- Read the question at the top of the poll.
- Tap the answer you want. Your choice is highlighted so you can see it is selected.
- To change your mind, tap a different answer before you submit.
- Tap Submit Vote! to send your answer. A short message confirms your vote has been counted.
See the results
- As soon as you have voted, the poll switches to show the results.
- Each answer has a bar showing how popular it was, along with the number of votes and the percentage of the total.
- The total number of votes is shown above the results.
Tips
- You can only vote once in each poll, so the results appear in place of the answers after you have voted.
- Some polls open or close at a set time. If a poll has not opened yet, you will see when it will open. If a poll has ended, you will see its results without being able to vote.
- Some polls ask you to be signed in before you can vote. If you are prompted, sign in and then return to the poll.
- Look out for the note that says you need to place your vote to see the results.
