Creating a Poll

Polls let your community vote on a question and see real-time results. This guide shows you how to create one.

Create the poll

  1. In the left side menu, go to Polls.
  2. Click Add New.
  3. Enter a Title. This is the name of the poll shown in the app.
  4. Enter your Question.
  5. Under Answers, type each answer option. You need at least two answers. Click Add Answer to add more.

Optional settings

  • Open poll and Close poll: by default a poll is always open. Set these dates, along with a time zone, to restrict voting to a specific window.
  • Allow visitor votes: by default only registered users can vote. Turn this on to let anyone vote, though they may be able to vote more than once.

Save and publish

  1. Click Save.
  2. To make the poll available in the app, turn on the Published toggle before saving.

Once published, app users can find any active polls in the app’s poll feature.
