The Blog Feed pulls your church’s latest blog posts into the app automatically. Once you connect your blog’s RSS feed, new articles, bible studies, and devotions you publish online appear in the app on their own, so your congregation always sees your most recent content without you having to add it twice.
Before you start
You will need the RSS feed address (a web link) for your blog. Most blog and website platforms create one for you automatically. It usually looks something like https://yourchurchsite.com/blog/rss. If you are not sure of your feed address, ask whoever manages your website, or check your website platform’s help pages.
Connect your Blog Feed
- Sign in to your church app dashboard.
- In the top right corner, open your account menu and select Settings.
- In the left side menu, under General, go to RSS feeds.
- Under Blog Feed Integration, in the Blog RSS feed URL field, paste your blog’s RSS feed address.
- Select Save.
Your latest blog posts will now display automatically in the app.
Tips
- Paste the full feed address, including the https:// at the start.
- The RSS feed link is not the same as your normal blog page address. Look for an RSS or feed link, or add /rss or /feed to your blog address if your platform supports it.
- After saving, publish or refresh a post and check the app to confirm your articles are coming through.
NOTE: The same RSS feeds screen also includes a separate Podcast Feed Integration section for an audio podcast RSS feed. That is a different feature from the Blog Feed and is not covered in this article.
