Prayer Requests give your members a private way to send prayer needs from your church app, and give your leadership team one place in the dashboard to read every request, see what matters most, and respond with care. Each request can be reviewed on its own, sorted at a glance by topic and urgency, and marked once your team has prayed or replied.
How members submit a prayer request in the app
Members submit prayer requests through the prayer form in your app. They open the prayer area, type their request, and send it. As soon as a request is sent, it appears for your leadership team in the dashboard. Members do not need to do anything else, and they cannot see other people’s requests.
Where prayer requests appear in the dashboard
- In the left side menu, go to Prayer.
- The Prayer Requests page opens with every request your members have submitted, newest first.
- At the top, a summary bar shows how many prayer requests came in over the last 30 days, how many are marked urgent, and the most common topic.
- If you see Prayer form not configured, the prayer form has not been set up for your app yet. Contact support to enable it.
- If you see No prayer requests yet, the page is working correctly and is simply waiting for your first request. New requests submitted through the app will appear here.
Read a prayer request
- Each request shows on its own row with the date it was sent and a short preview of the message.
- Click anywhere on the row to expand it and read the full request.
- Click the row again to close it. Only one request stays open at a time, so opening another closes the previous one.
