Recurring events let you set up an event that repeats on a schedule, so you do not have to create it over and over (for example a weekly service or a daily prayer meeting). Recurring is a Beta feature, so it may change over time.
Make an event recurring
You start from an event you have already created, then turn it into a repeating schedule.
- In the left side menu, go to Events.
- Open the event you want to repeat.
- Click the Actions button, then choose Make recurring.
- In the Event recurrence window, set how often the event repeats (see the options below).
- Click Create.
Once an event is part of a recurring schedule, the Make recurring option is no longer available for that event.
Recurrence options
In the Event recurrence window you can set:
- Repeat every: enter a number, then choose day or week. For example, set 1 and week for a weekly event, or 2 and week for every second week.
- Repeat on: when you choose week, tick the days the event should fall on (Mon through Sun). You can select more than one day.
- Ends: choose when the series stops.
- On: the event repeats until a date you pick.
- After: the event repeats for a set number of occurrences.
View your recurring events
- In the left side menu, go to Events.
- Along the top, select the Recurring tab.
The Recurring tab lists each recurring schedule, showing how many events it created and a plain description of the pattern (for example, Occurs weekly every week on mon, ending after 10 occurrences). Click a schedule to see the individual events it generated.
- Tip: set the event’s date, time, and other details before you make it recurring, so every event in the series starts from the same details.
